Tony Annan, Founder and President

Tony Annan is an experienced leader in the construction industry, serving as the founder and president of Warwick Construction, Inc. After earning his civil engineering degree from Huddersfield Polytechnic, Tony embarked on a successful career in commercial construction. With General Contractor licenses in all fifty states, he has established a solid reputation for excellence and integrity in the industry. Currently serving as a Planning & Zoning Commissioner for the City of Friendswood, Tony combines his deep expertise with a strong commitment to community development. Originally from Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), he proudly embraced his journey to becoming a U.S. citizen, infusing his diverse background into his innovative approach to construction.

Brad Downs, Vice President

Brad Downs has served as Vice President and General Counsel for Warwick Construction, Inc. since 2007.  He earned a B.B.A. in General Business from Lamar University and received his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 1997. Brad is instrumental in the development and execution of company strategies and goals and works hand-in-hand with all departments at Warwick. Brad is committed to fostering solid relationships with clients, subcontractors and most of all, employees.  Brad was born and raised in Southeast Texas where he currently resides with his wife of 30 years.  He enjoys cheering on the Houston Texans, traveling to new places, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Walt Watzinger, Vice President of Operations

Walt Watzinger is the Vice President of Operations at Warwick Construction, where he has been a key leader since 2011. In his role, Walt oversees business development and marketing, strengthening client relationships and coordinating closely with subcontractors, employees, and stakeholders. He is responsible for strategic planning and the execution of Warwick’s business goals, with a focus on enhancing productivity, efficiency, and workforce development. Walt’s leadership drives the company’s growth and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. Outside of his professional life, Walt has been happily married for 28 years and lives in Houston, Texas, with his wife and two sons.

Rachael Garnett, Controller

With over 20 years of accounting experience as a national retail and commercial general contractor, Rachael Garnett serves as a Controller specializing in managing and overseeing accounts payable and receivable, as well as driving process improvements. She has led initiatives such as transitioning to a paperless environment, making the department more efficient, responsive, and reliable. Her expertise extends to handling state audits and managing sales and use tax compliance nationwide. Outside of work, Rachael enjoys reading and boating, finding balance and inspiration both on the water and in a good book.

Warwick Construction, Inc. was established in April, 1999 as a Texas corporation. Warwick implemented a strategic plan designed to increase its competitive edge, which included national expansion of business operations, talent acquisition, quality control and risk management programs, as well as the team approach to project management. In 2003, Warwick built and moved into their current corporate headquarters located in southeast Houston. Warwick has successfully procured the necessary licenses to be able to build in all 50 states.
